Not far from us in Tynemouth there is a market every weekend and they have loads of 2nd hand book stalls, infact too many to get around. but i might stock up before we make the move.

the devil wears prada is such a good chick flick film, paul even watched and laughed which is a first for him as he hates chick flicks. have you seen the holiday? with kate winslet and jude law thats another good sit on the sofa with a glass of wine .

Yes we've the film Holiday- it was filmed in Godalming where daughter went to college,(they had hoped their drama teacher would find a way to get them on set or even be extras- but no such luck)they had a good nosey down the high street and church when Jude law and Cameron Diaz and Kate W. were filming last yr. All that fake snow and window dressing in the middle of summer! We want to buy it and the film to NZ !

Finished 'The Prefect' by Alastair Reynolds. Much better than your average sci-fi.

Just started 'Life On Air' the autobiography from David Attenborough....it had me chuckling away to myself on the commute into work this morning.

It does tend to get a bit slow in the middle for a few chapters...but keep going as it's a great read.

I tend to read lurid Mexican crime novels and oat operas by Louis L'Amour and Ralph Compton. Those, and a heap of current events crap on the web.

Just finished The God Boy by Ian Cross and The Long Dry by a Welsh bloke, last name Jones. Near the end of Espresso 1 Italian coursebook, near the beginning of Forensic Linguistics by John Olssen, in the middle of The Nostradamus Code by Michael Rathford, about to start Hegemony or Survival by Noam Chomsky.

Just remembered the Welsh bloke's full name - Cynan Jones.

No, but seen the documentary of the same name and know a couple who attended the course - not called the Secret (Landlines or something. No! Landmark).

Interesting idea, quite possibly true and workable, but I'm not going to that bloody course if I end up like that couple have!
