Felt like a cross between a really large truck rumbling up the road and the thumping feeling you get in your chest at really loud gigs!

Dog still asleep though!

Felt them both here in Beach Haven. Wasn't sure about the first one but the second was a pretty definite 2-3 seconds of rumbling.

OMG are you serious. I felt a shake and assumed it was someone moving something upstairs.

Didn't notice first one.
Libby was in kitchen for the next one and was her first in akl.
This was first I have felt. Like at heavy truck going past.

I don't think it was that bad. I had to be informed by my Mrs that the house was shaking a little... I didn't notice at first myself.

Was watching DVD in bedroom, bed started jolting/shaking, lamps rattled, teenagers in bedrooms felt beds moving/jolting/chairs moving, we are near Howick beach just across from Motutapu/Rangitoto, never felt one before so quite an experience  We all emerged from different areas of the house saying 'did you feel that' 'that must have been an earthquake', then all the reports started coming up on social media, websites to confirm.
