Default Could a drink driving offence affect my Visa application

Hi,
I was convicted of drink driving 7.5 years ago and was wondering if this would effect my chance of my visa being declined.
Can somebody shed any light on this?

Hi, found this on the NZ immigration website, it's from the INZ Operational Manual, hope it helps.

A5.25 Applicants normally ineligible for a residence class visa unless granted a character waiver
Applicants who will not normally be granted a residence class visa, unless granted a character waiver (see A5.25.1(b) below), include any person who has been:
convicted at any time during the last five years, of an offence (including a traffic offence), involving dangerous driving, driving having consumed excessive alcohol (including drunk driving and driving with a blood or breath alcohol content in excess of a specified limit) or driving having consumed drugs;

Unlikely as it was so long ago. Maybe if it was more recent.
I declared an expired drink driving conviction from 12/13 years prior to my application and it never even got a mention.
Total honesty is the best policy for sure.
