Hello,
Can I please ask what is the rough amount a UK to New Zealand emigration is and how much is best to have in the bank on arrival (initial set up)

totally depends on how many people, how much you are moving, are there animals involved, do you have kids, where you want to go to.
for us a family of 4, moving car and 4 bed house contents it cost us 15K back in 2012.

Yip same here. 5 bed house. Filled a 40ft container and all up it cost around 15k plus other costs for accommodation on arrival, a car etc.

We had half a container -costing about two thousand pounds) plus flights (around two thousand) no kids no pets no car we replaced a lot when we got here. We didnt have jobs so spent a lot on accom and living expenses till we both found permanent work -took around 3 months (around an extra two thousand)
So all up about 6 k

For us so far its been £3000 on immigration fees (inc meds and qual check), £3800 for a 20ft container, £1500 for car, £3000 for flights (2 adults 2 kids) = £11,300 so far plus extras for temporary accomodation + other things to come... so estimate of £12-14k for a family of 4.

Costs likely to change, of course, with the exchange rate depending on which country the service supplier is based in.
Probably tied to the US dollar, I would think.
