I read an interesting thread on here lately regarding cost-of-living - https://britishexpats.com/forum/new-...tay-go-926026/ - so thought I'd post a few (hopefully) useful links in here and we can maybe turn it into a sticky thread to help future visitors in their decision making. The veterans on here will know more about these cost-of-living comparison sites than i do, I've had a play with them and not sure on their accuracy - so hopefully we can all shed some light on it :)

Council tax rates aren't included on the lists, and neither are things like dental costs from what I could see. It's very basic... Obviously this depends on area, but how does everyone's council tax rates compare against UK rates? Do you feel like it's a fair price for what you're getting?

Have been here so long I couldn't tell you what my UK rates were.

I've found Numbeo and Expatistan's data 'interesting', even though it's apparently been updated as recent as this week
