Coronavirus

Re: Coronavirus
Hope you are all ok and whether you celebrate Easter or not, try to enjoy your weekend as much as possible even though, like me stuck in NSW, you're not able to do much.
Since I'm going on huge walks most days, I'm going to consume my body weight in easter eggs, and go on more walks to make sure that body weight doesn't stick around!
I might even make a tin foil hat out of my easter foil as per my previous post on tin foil hats.
If you're really lucky and I'm bored, I might post a pic of it. 😁
This is what happens in lockdown by myself. I become even more ridiculous. ..
Take care everyone 😊

I've now run out of whisky, chalk it up to imprudence or poor planning but I will need to find a delivery service it seems.

I wouldn't even know how to do a you tube video...
We still have bottle shops open, essential services and all !
Kogan deliver alcohol here, I've never checked in NZ..

Re: Coronavirus
Don't know if the lower number of tests conducted has any impact but the numbers do look to be moving steadily downwards over the last few days.

More good news to come out of the Coronavirus pandemic is that more Kiwi businesses will be dragged into the 21st Century, especially where it comes to online shopping:

people don't get it. they think it will never catch on or be a none starter or finish as soon as levels lift.
When something is introduced that's new which is online shopping. once people get in the habit of doing it the habit will stick.

I prefer to go and shop for something, I like human interaction, plus it keeps shops on the high street snd people in work

Re: Coronavirus
The reason High Streets are diening a slow death in the UK is Tesco and Asda.
Tesco nd Asda have nailed the UK market on the head with pretty much everything in one shop.
If you live a busy life with family and work. you dont need go to the high street.
If you do a shop in Pak n Save or Countdown you still need to go to high street to buy anything but food.

OK, so, what I understood from the PM today is that when we leave level four it will be to level three but new level three won't be like old level three but a bit more like like level four. I mean level four will still be called level four but could now be considered like level five because level three will now be level four. If level three, which is actually more like level four, doesn't work we will move to level four which is now kind of like level five.
Are we all super clear? Excellent.

It's very simple in practical terms. You can expand your bubble but if you actually double the bubble you will still be in trouble. You see we cannot afford to bumble or stumble but must remain humble lest we shuffle on with quarantine for a couple more weeks.
