In the 70s sex was only competing against Tomorrows World on the BBC or reading Razzle. Sunday schools preached abstinence and self-denial left them full of repressed feeling and primed to bang.

Today sex competes against Netflix and PornHub. Schools teach kids all the mechanics and kids feel free to discuss their feeling. There is probably a hipster writing self-help book about 'using your imagination in the age of pornography' for people anxious to try retro sex.

The lady that passed away lived in Kaitaia. There is bugger all there . Did they find the connection at all as it didn't seem to be family. It is the Heaphy track entry point though so plenty of overseas people pass through.

It will need to be down to pretty much zero new cases before there is a change in Level.
The 4 weeks would be a complete waste of time if your still getting 50 cases a day you have effectively just paused it for a month.
Also starting quarantine at the borders now which is a good thing.

The rate of layoffs is absolutely ferocious which is very serious for a great many New Zealanders. Almost certainly we will have to reconsider our position on a number of issues from taxation to social welfare. There is little hope of reabsorbing these people into employment without vastly expanded spending (e.g. infrastructure) and mass retraining.

I believe that the finance minister has asked for more data to be made available on MSD applications.
