apparently as I have asthma I am in the high likely to get Covid 19 so I need to book an appointment, sit in the waiting room with ill people and then have a chat to a Dr.

I responded that I have no intention in paying for and taking up a appointment for a repeat prescription to a standard medicine. I also stated that if he felt I was high likely to get Covid19 then surely I should not be putting myself in situation where I could catch it and that I should be given the asthma pumps to help with my breathing.

Tomorrow I shall be looking for a new surgery.
Oh how ridiculous, definitely look for a new surgery!

As you can see I'm up late in Oz, can't sleep as my mind overthinks and I feel quite alone..

But I'm healthy and good and I have wine!

Not at 3am though...!

Hope you can get your asthma pumps x

Bizarre . I can sort of see about the appt to discuss the issue but the idea that a surgery would still have patients sitting in a waiting room together escapes me.

So - I just bothered to check what updates and advice our health centre has on this online. Answer = nothing at all really. Not even a reassurance. Not sure how one gets the flu jab then without going into the surgery waiting room to wait.

She'll be right.

Now for the good news!

We can now go to Bunnings and breathe freely without fear of carrying home the smell of a 1,000 stinking sausages and fried onions. Yay!!

Apparently it doesn't qualify as a romantic date in our house.

So $12.4bn spent today but no boost for you working plebs, it's all about "socialising" business losses.

However because OPEC+ is having a family feud I filled my tank for $1.74/l at Gull today which is about 50c less than a few weeks back. So...some good news?

😂 I'm single so Bumnings is my date - with myself!

Alas I am currently with cask wine, Survivor All stars and no Bunnings for me 😊 At least I'm healthy. .

Considering the past

Also his health minister is more bothered about a road than the state of the health system in New Zealand.

Thank goodness during this difficult time, the circus that is that political party is able to provide me with some laughter

This will be my first time voting in NZ at a federal election, as I've always lived back in Oz when previous ones have happened.

I know nothing about anyone apart from Jacinda..

Does the government have the physical resources it needs in New Zealand? In the UK the call went out to build more ventilators (JCB and Rolls-Royce are onto) but I've not seen anything from our government yet?
