Hi to the forum members,

We have just sorted out our container to be shipped out beginning of May but was wondering how much people have paid for their insurance.

We have been quoted a ridiculous high price with the shipping company we are using and we need to compare what other people have been paying for their contents and what is a realistic figure to insure contents of container. Also has any of you taken out your own insurance rather than using the shipping company?

Any advice would be appreciated.

yes it does seem shipping companies want to take the pee when it comes to insurance. we used:
