construction work Christchurch
hi
i am looking to come over to NZ over the summer, i am a joiner so will be looking to do that, i have heard there is plenty of work but really want to hear this from someone who is actually there and not agency's as the ones over in the UK kind of tell you what you want to hear
Any Help????
Cheers

Look at coverstaff, tradestaff, canstaff - all agencies that handle trades. Agencies are paying carpenters around $25 per hour and expect around 40 hours per week. On top of that, they pay your ACC levy and 8% holiday pay. At the moment there is plenty of work - the trade most in demand seems to be brickies though.
