Confused about visas!
 

Hi All,
I was hoping some you friendly knowledgeable people on this board could answer a couple residency queries....
Myself and my partner have been here for a couple of years now & we're heading back to Blighty (slightly bitter sweet about leaving...... but that's another story) to be closer to our respective parents as they head into their twilight years! I have PR from a few years back whereas my GF has only gained residency (through me) in the last 6 months, so hasn't yet made the 2 year requirement for an IRRV. We're getting married next year - but my concern is that as we'd like to come back in the distant future,would she then have to start the residency process again from scratch? :huh: any help would be greatly appreciated...
