I have read that Pearl Jam have recently announced they are playing Christchurch 29th November.

We would really like tickets, and they go on sale 17th August if the tinterweb is to be believed. Should I be buying them through Ticketek on line? This seems to be all I can find....

Sorry for dumb question but if it was in the UK I would know what I was doing ticket-buying wise and Pearl jam are sold out here and we would love to see them

Thanks! Have registered with Ticketek and hopefully will be able to get tickets in the Visa presale, but will have to be up at 1am Uk time

I DID IT!!!

Registered, used my Visa card, and got two seats for Pearl Jam in Christchurch

This was the 24 hour Visa pre-sale, the tickets must be going fast as two sections were already sold out

Pearl Jam are an American rock/grunge group, been around for about 20 years, part of the original Seattle movement that included bands such as Nirvana. But they're all still alive and going strong - dates were instantly sold out in the UK

Ahh fond memories. First time I ever had too much to drink as a teenager I was about 19 (weird considering my boozehag ways now). I fondly recall singing Daughter and Better Man at the top of my lungs.

Followed by Summer nights from grease. We were all former choir girls singing Pearl Jam. Lovely.

I really want to go to the concert now.
