Not sure salad strictly needs to be centrifuged, I think you can just microwave it straight from the packet.
Another thing I've ended up with are reusable bottles. Every corporate event I go to they give away the exact same items so completely defeating the point of reusable bottles. Similarly low capacity USB drives, the fact we all moved to cloud storage (so the CIA can also see what happened at aunt Barbaras third wedding) seems to have passed PR companies by.

Tray tables with bean-bag type things underneath. I thought of all sorts of uses for them before I bought 2, and haven't used them once. I still packed them when I moved to the UK, and again when I moved back to Australia where they now sit in the linen cupboard looking very sheepish.

My pals got themselves a salad spinner . It takes some arm power to make this work. One then removes said lettuce leaves and washes up this labour saving wotnot
My own way to rid salad leaves of excess water is to shake them over the sink and dab with a bit of kitchen roll. Sorted!

I've almost spun them into a lettuce smoothie

I use my pasta maker often too. I make cakes from home and the pasta roller is perfect for rolling sugar paste for making flowers.
