Please don't assume that low decile schools and refugee kids=problems=worst schools=poor teachers.

I admit I do assume I'm afraid!! my opinions are changing, though I admit that a school that clearly has hills to climb versus one that on paper doesn't is not going to be my first choice..... you live and learn though and I am doing so!

That's very interesting - I'll feed that back to my mum. Oh and she is a principal of a decile 1 school and is very proud of the commitment of her staff. She uses the extra money to reduce class sizes amongst other things.
