We're inundated with flies, mossies and flying daddy long legs at the moment with all the rain we've had. It's unbelievable the minute you open a window there's something buzzing around. Also time of year for the praying mantis to come out of their hidey holes.

Flies are blinkin awful, hence the electric fly swot. Mind you the novelty wears off if after 5mins you still haven't swotted the buggas, but ohh so satisfying when you do. Found them easier to get at night but that doesn't solve the day time buzzing.

eww flying daddy long legs - I did buy some of those magnetic fly screens that go over doorways, unfortunately as doors are aluminium haven't had time to find a good way to attach and to be honest I also got the wrong size in my haste to get a remedy. :o

We bought a spray that has actually worked wonders... Sprayed the ceilings and round the Windows. Ok so we have to vacuum the window sills more but it's brilliant!

we still get a few flies but nothing to what we did!

What spray is that Nikki? Flies have been shocking this year at our place!

I looked up at our lounge ceiling one autumn even a few years ago and that was it & it was fly ballroom dancing up there. That was it . I had enough and Inow have the house doors and windows sprayed inside and out once a year. Sorted !

It's kiwicare - no bugs super professional strength. I got it from mitre10, quite potent so I advise spraying and leave the house for a good while!
