Citizenship

It's what Sundays with a little hangover are made for.
Completed online applications for me & Mrs escapedtonz today. Have to do the eldest boy by post so tackle that tomorrow. Taking advantage of a quicker turnaround since Citizenship ceremonies are currently off the table.
Was meant to apply 3.5 yrs ago as soon as we became eligible but had lots more important things to spend the money on.

Re: Citizenship

I'm just starting my application.
I've been eligible for donkeys years but couldn't really see the point. Last night I watched a video of the demonstrations in the uk and attacks on police. I told my kiwi wife that for the first time I genuinely felt ashamed of being English. NZ citizenship will be me finally cutting ties

Yeah, same here.
Didn't really see the benefit of spending $1500 to get citizenship then passports but after everything that's happened the past few months we feel its now a no brainer. Completed the boys application today and sent that off.
