The "Cities of Gold"
Who remembers 'The Mysterious Cities of Gold'? I used to run home from school to make sure I did not miss the start. Just downloaded the original series from iTunes for the girls. Awesome!

Getting old sucks.
Last night i was going through You Tube watching old music video's (10 to 20 years ago of Blur, Stone Roses, Elastica, Suede, Garbage, Echobelly, Shed 7, Suede, Ash, Republica, Prodigy, Supergrass etc etc.) thinking that was real music not like the rubbish that's turned out today.
Caught myself thinking thats exactly what my parents parents said to me when i was younger when they were watching stuff from their childhood.
Damn.
Any way, thread related, I do remember coming home from school to Cities of Gold too.
*edit* While backpacking a couple years ago (in my 30's and while in Vietnam) one night I enjoyed a very lively debate about TV when we were younger. Some of the programs discussed were things like Why Dont You?, Chip N Dale, Gummi Bears, SuperTed, Super Gran, Fun House, Poddington Peas, Dogtanian, Maid Marrion, Bitsa, The Demon Headmaster, Willow The Wisp, Thundercats, He-Man, Bananman, Round The Twist, Bertha, Batfink, Pigeon Street. Nightmare, Danger Mouse. Really brought back some memories.
