Christmas gifts ideas (on a budget!)

If any of you need some inspiration for Christmas gifts try GrabOne (http://www.grabone.co.nz/). My partner is quite difficult to buy for so I've bought him a couple of things from here - a trip to a local brewery (can't go wrong) and a breakfast voucher for a cafe (two brekkies for $21). For those of you with kids into dancing I saw a one term dance class tuition package for $50 (usually $140). I've also booked some friends a cruise in Akaroa on Bookme (http://www.bookme.co.nz/bookings/chr...-kaikoura/home). Many bargains on Bookme, most of them I will be taking advantage of in the new year :D Those examples are Chch specific but there's lots of things all over NZ on the websites.

Wowzer, I wouldn't mind those things myself.

I do buy one of those Entertainment Books sometimes - have bought one from a local charity this year round, and have been out for a few deals from that. I guess that would make a good pressie, but it does originally come out in the winter.

One of our gifts this year is family tickets to see the new Hobbit film.

Tickets to the Hobbit is a great idea. I much prefer buying things for people to do, rather than buying stuff (that'll probably end up in the back of a draw or charity shop some where!) :thumbup:
