Excellent pix as per usual. I love looking at your photos - you have such a great eye for turning the 'ordinary' into something special.

Current cameras are a Lumix DMC-FZ7 and a little fuji finepix. I'm a great believer that you don't need a big expensive SLR to take good pictures.
However I am currentlt saving for a big expensive SLR!!

Dustybin,

Those are amazing pictures! If I wasn't already completely desperate to get to NZ (and Chch in particular), then I definitely am now!

I looked at some of the other pics in the album too. You're seriously talented. There must be a market for such great pictures (yours are way better than many that can be found in a lot of publicity material). The very least you should do (if you're not already doing it) is to enter a few photography competitions and win yourself a few quid or a camera or something!

Wonderful pics as ever, Dusty! I have a big expensive SLR but don't have all the big lenses to go with it, just the standard one it came with.

Completely agree that you don't need a big expensive SLR to take brill pics, you need the eye for it. I even managed to take good pics with my old Brownie 127. :D

I love the giant chess set! Didn't know there was one of those in CHC.
