Question Children's carseats/booster seats?

Hello there,

In view on our pending holiday in December, I have just began to start looking at it (ie travel to south island etc/camper van/carhire) and am wondering what to do about car seats - well booster seats more specifically.

I think we could hire them with a hire car - presumable for a fee? Would this generally be the case.

Alternatively, Argos UK have booster seats for £9, but I would rather not take them from the UK, so is there an Argos equivalent in NZ or somewhere we could buy booster seats for roughly this amount?

Any help appreciated. Thanks - Carmen.
