Can anyone over in New Zealand tell me if and how you get child benifit?

Sorry no such thing here. Depending on whether you have residency,and the amount you earn, you may be entitled to Working for Families Tax Credit.

When calculating, you will have to declare any earnings you have received in the UK since April
