Re: ChCh Quake
Rats!
They don't need that on the run up to the Festive Season. |
Re: ChCh Quake
Yip yip all good down here.
Got woken up by a good couple of rumbles and the house rattling - biggest one I've had since I landed. Nothing has fallen over or got damaged that I can see in our house and reports are that there's no damage elsewhere from what I read. Keep coning Christchurch :D |
Re: ChCh Quake
Posted in the Chch thread, but it was just another rattler - nothing serious, but a good one nonetheless. Had to be interesting in Rolleston as it was just south of there. Just shy of my 4.6 record set last November.
That was the first quake I have felt since April, and the first over 4 for a good while, so things are still trending quieter long term which is good for all here. |
Re: ChCh Quake
Better a lot of little plate slides than one big one eh!:fingerscrossed:

Re: ChCh Quake
Our first quake since arriving - woke us up in Rolleston but no damage :)

Re: ChCh Quake

In methven felt nothing.

Re: ChCh Quake
Fairly sure that was wobble number 2... it's quite exciting when they're small and no-one gets hurt. But maybe I'm just odd. I expect it'll become old hat soon.

Re: ChCh Quake
I slept through it, only knew about it when I got to work and there was talk. I think our bodies must get used to it, maybe our brains just think we're on a boat now so no reason to fuss lol
