Hi It may be of interest to some of you Air New Zealand in April 2011 are going to bring in a New Sky Couch in exhausted economy class:thumbup: .Passengers will have a chance to fully put their head down:thumbsup::thumbsup:

777-300 planes will offer 22 sets of Sky Couches ideal for couples or families with two young children.
The upright Sky Couch seat will fold out to provide a Flat Area to rest on and will also be partially reclined with a retractable platform which can be raised to create a flat space across the footwell.

On flights on its new 777-300 only to and from Heathrow from April 2011.

Prices are expected to be more then a normal economy fare and quite affordable for some of you. How Cool is that you will even get a curtain:wub::rolleyes::eek:

Looks a good idea,and when your both slim and 20 you'll look good buying all three seats, but if your both fat and forty, your not gonna look pretty trying to snuggle up!!!;)

Personally I think the Qantas Premium Economy looks better I will let you know when we arrive in NZ in January. You may have seen that we have booked this flight on my earlier report.

So do I you have to pay for 3 seats. I have had a look and it says about $1400 more.

They say if the two seats are booked then the 3rd should be 1/2 price...
