Pet shops and vets seem to be the most common place to see it

Unless your cats have some major health issues, I wouldn't think it was too necessary.

Lots of the vets I have come across here so far, are very good, and have spent some time in the UK.

Ragdolls are a very popular breed here btw

They don't have major health probs just problems trying to get their bid for freedom lol I'm glad they are popular makes it easier when they do need a vet. they are my babies
