Well we're finaly here & now ooking at vehicles any advice or guiduance greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Are you on a visa or residency? I got caught out on my car buying plans as could only get finance for the duration of my visa, so careful with that one if you are on a visa!

Toyota do their signature class range, older cars but come with a 3 year warranty etc, while you can buy a 3 year warranty for $1000 odd for any older car, covers it for mechanical breakdown over that time...

And Japanese cars are cheaper than most others!

I did see an Aston Martin for 180k when I was looking, wondered if it was big enought to live in as well as drive :rofl:

Just had some good advice on another forum ~ to buy the dog and lemon guide before you buy the car to ensure that the price is ok.

Seriously. it will really depend on where you are situated & what you need from a vehicle. . We have a small 4 wheel drive but then we have a need for that where we live as we drive up river ,up mountain tracks , on beaches and the like.

Some rate the Dog and Lemon guide. Some do not. At the end of the day, per haps take a look at what you see on the roads around you to get a feel of what you will need.

I'm not a vehicle person, it's just a means of getting from A to B for me.
