Cant believe we are actually looking at Car Hire from Auk Airport (to Hawkes Bay). We REALLY are going.Pinch me!
Anyway good folks, which firm do you recommend for a one way rental from Jan 3rd - Jan 5th?
Reasonable price, but decent motor.

From the UK we have always used Maui, booked over the internet and got really good, comparable, rates. In NZ last hire company we used was rent a dent - the car was ok (ish) but despite the name the rates were not that different to any other hire company - a medium sized (4 people) Mitsubishi cost $80 a day.

have a look at www.yellowpages.co.nz for car hire,we went with Hendersons $10 per day + insurance for a starlet it was good enough for us (family of 5).
We even had friends come over and use them and they traveled all over the place in their starlet(family of 4).
