Canada vs New Zealand
Hi, there,
Can anybody give me your opinions on culture, life style, health system, employment, and education system between Canada and New Zealand?
Which country do you prefer to stay?
Thanks.

Lived in Toronto for 4 years when I was a teenager - lots of culture, great life style and excelletn health system. Lots of good private and public schools in and around Toronto. Same could be said about Vancouver. If I were to choose a Canadian city to live in, Vancouver would definitely be my top choice because of its milder climate - yes it snows there too but nowhere nearly as much as in Toronto or other inland cities.
Didn't know a thing about employment then but did hear about the high unemployment rate at the time - that was 18 years ago. I have cousins living in Toronto, Windsor, and Vancouver, and they're all loving it.

Hello
I can only speak about NZ and we love it.
The climate is so vaired between the islands that you can find some where for everyone. Health care is modern and so far we have found the education system good. Daughter has just been placed in "Accelerate" class for Intermediate school, starting in 05.
Any specific questions, PM us.

Re: Canada vs New Zealand
I have lived in Canada and I loved it. I have been to NZ many times and while I loved the landscape (NZ really has got it all) I would not want to move there. I would prefer Canada simply because I like the mentality better (Sorry to all NZ people). I can't say that I don"t like Kiwis, I just have not met many, all of NZ seems to be full of Expat poms , Expats yanks and Expat Germans . In between there are a few NZ people (those that have not migrated to either Australia or London).
I would say, with regards to eoncomy, jobsearch and climate there is not that much difference between the two. NZ seems to have more rain, Canada colder winters. Canada is a lot closer to Europe, Canada is a lot closer to everywhere really. New Zealand is well and truly at the end of the world.
