we are going to NZ in august and are looking to arrange camper van hire from the UK before going. can anyone let us know the best companies/web sites to look at?

hi all

thanks for the replies so far. on another tack, a friend in NZ suggested hiring a car and stying in'chalet' type accomodation at campsites considering the time of year we are going, anyone know anything about that?

I've generally borrowed a car from family then used the various guides from AA ,Top10 Holiday Parks, Jasons etc (you can pick up lots of these as you arrive at airport) Book ahead as you travel around if it makes you feel more in control. There are all different types of accom on offer from cabins, static caravans, motels. Or always Backpacker Hostels which are great value. Have a great time:)
By the way if you are AA member here check if it covers you in NZ too.
