Call to prayer and two minute silence at 1.30pm today.
New Zealand will be broadcasting the Islamic call to prayer at 1.30pm today - Friday - and observe a two minute silence in ceremonies to mark a week since the Christchurch attacks.
It matters not whether one agrees with this method to mark the murdering atrocity. It matters the nation's unity.
I don't pray. I have no religion at all. I can certainly spent two minutes showing respect.

Doesn't seem to be any different to the way Manchester dealt with the terrorist attack they suffered
