Default Buying sports kit in NZ??

Hi all,

We are heading out to NZ in March next year and we are just considering what to take. We are both triathletes and we were wandering if we need to stock up on trainers, shorts etc etc before we go.

I assume that there are specialise running shops etc in Auckland, it being such a sport based country??

We usually bye Suacony, New Balance, Adidas kit are these available?

Buy them in the UK. They will cost a lot more in NZ.

Even sports kit made in NZ (Macpacs for instance - could be described as sports kit) is more expensive in NZ than in the UK. The only reason I can think of for this is that in the UK, Macpac has to compete with many other European brands which are not available in NZ.

Typical, will have to stock up on kit before i got, but to be fair if I have to pay more for the kit I want, I aiant gonna lose sleep over it.
