Building our own house ?! How much ??
Hi all
I've been thinking a lot this weekend about building our own home when we get to NZ!
For those doing/done it, how much does (estimate) it cost? how long 'should' it take?
In fact everything about it would help lol
I don't want anything extravagent ... just a basic(ish) 3 bedroom with reception rooms etc etc. You can buy a house and have it delivered can't you ???
I keep seeing progs on TV about building homes and I have fallen in love !!! I don't mind grafting to save some $$ but it would have to have the basic amenities!

And as with Nero's post - I would like (hope) we could have solar panels for our electricity too! Anyone know anything about this ???
