well - job offer accepted... thats that!!! all systems go. stupid me didnt realise my dogs needed to have the rabies jab 6 months before they go, so Paddy will have to go on his own end Jan and me stay here
till the dogs are able to fly. Still gives Paddy time to find a place for us to live that takes dogs, oh yes and I am sure he will have to suss out the best bars
Flipping heck, this has all happened soooo quick - alot to be be said for linkdin! new chapter, new adventure - but 4 months without my OH, my BF, not looking forward to that...

aww thanks, 4 months without my OH, my BF... seems forever. On the the plus side I do have the kids (that is our dogs lol) to keep me company, Paddy on the OH is on his own, and already anxious about his tummy, I mean who will pack his lunch up for him every day?? lol. Still in shock, NZ was never really on the agenda - but I guess these things happen for a reason right? ?

NZ wasn't on the cards for us either, hubby came over to visit some guy he got talking to on FaceBook and never came back
left me to sell the house and sort the kids (human ones) out. we were apart from begining of Sept until Christmas.
Skype was great, except when he wanted to bloody chat when the rugby was on
the time will fly by for him, getting the know the area, new job, looking for place to stay and you will have things to do so hopefully will fly by for you too

Congratulations!
We had no big plan to emigrate - just went along to an expo as we were in London that weekend and hubby was offered jobs there. Then thought 'what the hell, why not!'.

Its good to arrive with no agenda, just take the whole thing as an adventure and try to enjoy the differences.
NZ's a funny old place but it soon grows on you
