bit of an odd question re cookers
we're in a rental that has a Fisher & Paykel cooker, a really old one by the look of it Paprika. what I assumed turned the hob on to use, the warmer knob, then you just turned the dials to desired heat doesn't do that at all. So what exactly does the Warmer do?

dumb - really how rude
my one in UK was a storage drawer so why would I assume any different (or was it ?).
Phew just checked and it was just a storage drawer, least I haven't been warming the pots and pans for the last 6yrs - now that would of been dumb
