Birth registration
Hi does anybody know if we have to register our new baby in the UK now in order to get UK passport later.

Hope all is going well, how is little Mia Rose? 
OH is a Kiwi, when we had our children here in UK we registered their births at NZ embassy (London) so they could get citizenship by descent certs & passports am assuming that it would be the same for you over there, try contacting UK Embassy over there Hth
With our first we registered straight away but with second left it about a year and half

If you go back to New Zealand, you should be aware that you can (and should) "upgrade" their NZ citizenship to NZ citizenship by grant.
