Did the Bike Pencarrow bike ride today

A great ride, the range of bike rides to do around Wellington is one of the really good things about being here so far. Great views and things to see, like the gravity defying mountain goats, the old lighthouse and a very close up view of the Interislander coming in

Also quite poignant with the anniversary of the Wahine disaster to consider so many people died in this rugged coastline

If you go to the museum of city and sea on Queens Wharf there is a 10 minute film about the Wahine disaster. Very sad to watch but very interesting.

The whole museum is great - not too big - maybe a couple of hours to see all of it.

And it's free
