Even the NZ Commerce Commission says consumers should beware of them. Personally have had a bad experience with ACER through a laptop purchase in Noel Leeming.

Very true. I remember there was something about cashbacks last year on Fair Go where lots of people were getting ripped off. It's definitely something to watch out for.

I bought an HP printer last December, it was pretty cheap but and there was a cashback voucher for $20 in it. I filled in all the details and got an email saying I should get a cheque in the mail on 5 Feb at the latest.

Surprise surprise...nothing in the mail today Not going to hold my breath for it either.
