Best place to sell a car - North Canterbury?
 

Hi,

Trying to sell my car which I currently have on trademe but not having any luck. Does anyone know of any car auctions/fairs other than Turners in the North Canterbury area? I believe there used to be one at Addington but is no longer there.

I,m afraid there's really only trade me or auto trader I always start them low and they usually go for more than I expect, What is it ?

Hi Neil, its a Honda Fit 2006, will give auto trader a go.

A bit like a house that has monolithic cladding - and therefore the vast majority of NZ residents now know not to touch them with a bargepole - they have become very very hard to get people to even attend Open Homes... so it is with the Honda Jazz (or Fit). The transmission problems of the CVT system on that car have entered NZ folklore and anyone I know who has looked for a small car recently has known not to even go and look at one.

That I think is going to be your problem, not your location.

Could I ask, is this the car that's done 106000km? I believe you're close to me (I live out Amberley way)

If that is the case, I am interested but there is absolutely no way I will offer what you're looking for. For that car with those kms and the year, you'd be looking at around a trade in price from me. The most I'd go to would be $6000
