Hey everyone

If you are ever thinking of coming over to Marlborough and are stuck for ways to entertain your wee ones I can recommend the following playgrounds.

Picton Foreshore - Big playground with a huge "pirate ship", paddling pool, safe swimming beach, mini golf and carousel. Lots of shade to eat fish N chips.

Blenheim - Pollard Park, large park near the race course, beautiful 100yr + oak trees and massive willow trees. Great kids playground and good facilities.

Whats the best area to take the kids to near you?

In particular can anyone recommend somewhere in Nelson/Richmond and Christchurch.

We have a really good wee playground right here in Mapua. Nothing much too fancy but it's got all the gear . There is also the skate board area which Jam features each year.

In Christchurch there a lots of good ones - in particular one in Centaurus Road, St Martins next to the primary school, also a great one in Barrington Street next to the mall.

There are public toilets and across the road nice sheltered sandy beach also great for kids & more public toilets.
