Beer running low...

The beer is running low:

Hot weather has sent beer consumption skyrocketing - causing havoc for brewing giant Lion, which is struggling to keep up with demand.
Why isn't civil defence messaging the public urging panic buying of beer? Utterly useless when there is a genuine national emergency! Also the PM needs to address parliament on what is being done, what are the New Zealand Defence Force doing? Lazy layabouts!

On any weekend society is only about a dozen beers away from anarchy.

OMG the state of emergency just worsens, the continued news of the destruction and devastation caused in the wake of early beginning of the Summer season is just bringing impossible living conditions and new horrors everyday.

The beersie shortgage will cause continued devastation in the already parched regions, as they battle with issues such as water that is either in short supply and / or unfit for human consumption as Summer season continues to rage it's unexpected progress well into the second week December.

We're anticipating that the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) will send nine trucks and 20 soldiers out on Friday evening to help with beersie-related events; an additional 60 troops and eight more trucks are on standby as the situation continues to sweep across the country.

I have it on good authority that folks at the Beehive have it all under control and further aide is available to be mobilised at short notice if required.

Fake news! Until I see children getting free beers on every street corner I will not be satisfied the crisis has abated.

We really are in the brink of a dire situation, with much of the country already suffering beer and petrol shortages the latest threat of an ice-cream shortage will come as a significant blow.

From my observation of the shopping carts at Pak n Save, I fear some people may be in need of international humanitarian assistance if we start to run low on ice-cream too.

Is this how it started in Venezuela? Let me be the first to say I for one have always supported the socialists and have never spoke any ill of the party. I did suggest free ice cream would be a popular political policy, maybe they are stockpiling.
