Does anyone know if it possible to buy a mattress for a double bed out in NZ? When I packed up my house over a year ago I got rid of the mattress (old & saggy!) & didn't buy a new one. Am I going to be sleeping on slats when it arrives?

Yes, though it maybe stuffed with straw and dead beetles as they haven't quite got round to inventing the spring over here yet

What's a bed, we are sleeping in some o;d cardboard boxes - thought everyone did!

sizes here are different but there are retailers who will make to measure for not much more than a normal mattress

You can get them (I recomended a bed retailer on anoter thread recently) but it'll take two weeks to get if they don't have them in stock.
