Beach Haven
there is to be new ferry service from Beach Haven straight in to the City, tenders are already being submitted.
Once this is in place it will make Beach Haven, which currently has lots of affordable
houses a
bit of a hotspot due to the ease with which you can reach the City for work (will be around 10 mins)
Might be worth a look at if anyones got investment property in mind

I've recently moved to Beach Haven, more due to convenience mind you (friends rental next door to his place, no bond/lease and very cheap rent) than anything else. I wasn't entirely sure about it as 'the Haven' has a bit of a reputation but I quite like it, 20 mins to work in Parnell (outside rush hour) and pretty handy for most of the Shore.
Moved here to save a deposit to buy and I'd definitely consider buying here.
