Bay of Plenty Weather
When my time eventually comes to stick two fingers up to blighty as i board the plane to NZ, could someone please give me the heads up on what winters are REALLY like in bay of plenty so i know what clothes i can leave behind

Hi,
I can only tell how the weather was last winter. Basically, its cold in the mornings but I never saw a frost but by 10 oclock the heat of the sun begins to kick in and by midday you`re down to a tee shirt and sometimes even shorts. However if its rainy or overcast, the temperature bearly gets into double figures. As for clothes, I wore jeans on the very odd occasion and sometimes e fleece but never remember wearing a coat. Hope that helps. This year may be different!!!!!
