Sorry to disappoint anyone who was waiting for the storm, it's still on it's way but it has dallied a while gathering momentum over the Tasman and seemingly Tasmania has taken a bit of a battering.

It is pretty messy out there, but we have had worse, at least our chairs and table are still on the deck. It seems to be very on and off - one minute blowing a gale, a brief flash of lightening and a few rumbles then it seems to calm a bit. Was a bit scary driving home from work and getting blown across the road with lots of debris, tree branches and stuff getting blown around.

T'was a heck of a storm last night. All night long. I gather there were weather warnings for campers , road users etc.

As usual the forcasts were wrong.
Weather men in NZ think gusts of 60kmh are bad, thats 35mph
i've had farts that have caused a bigger disturbance than that.
