Should we have a quick check what Australian (and other) banks have been up to in New Zealand?

Cryptos are the way of the future. Bypass the banks completely.

Yeah but that's because crypotcurrency avoids any of the identity checking and money laundering checks that people using SWIFT have to do. Countries will get over that very rapidly.

The only part I find odd is NZ is the only OEDC country that does not have a version of a ''depositors holder protection Act'' this lets the banks get away with it and their mates will get a nod to get out of a 'soon to fail bank' ahead of any ordinary account holder.

I wonder how much the banks and others would benefit if they did offer such a ''lifeboat scheme'' i cannot see that other countries who have such arrangements have their banks suffer directly because of it. I do see their customers not losing their life savings!
