Stranded cows rescued from quake island near Kaikoura | NZNews | Newshub

the farmer himself got them down. though he did lose live stock just not the 14 or so cows in that paddock

Also use lots of gorilla glue when you put those pictures on the wall or you'll be forever adjusting them and hanging them back up after every little jolt.

I know they had a really shit time but I hope that in their shoes I would have the humility to realise that moaning to the media about a wrecked holiday and a few more thousand on the mortgage makes me look like an asshole when the backdrop is wrecked homes, wrecked lives, and people who will likely be facing difficulties such as being homeless, the ongoing fear of quakes, and needing to relocate families. But I do appreciate it must have been a scary and exhausting few days for them. Hope they have an uneventful trip home.

Well, my friends are safe and well yay! They have just moved to Kaikoura, bought a warehouse and scrubbed up the mini golf course on their property. Hours of work, money and time poured into making it new again... and now it's trashed But at least they are safe and well.

The rescue chopper has been delivering tourists and locals to our local community centre today. I've lost count of the amount of times it's whizzed pass and hovered to land!
