Back from NZ to UK
Hi Guys, I moved back to the UK from NZ following the death of my husband and have been back for 3 years now. I informed IRD of my permanent return to the UK a month before I left and also informed HMRC as soon as I arrived back for tax purposes. Now out of the blue, IRD have advised me that they never changed my records to Non resident and that I need to complete a IR3NR. I have been paying tax on an IR3 for the last 3 years due to confusion with correct PIE & PIR codes which I do not have any understanding of as my husband death with these things. Can anyone recommend someone that can help me get straight as I am loosing so much sleep over this. Here's hoping....
