baby passport
Hi all, we are off to UK for a holiday soon and hoped to get a UK passport for our daughter whilst we are there (7 week trip) and wondered if this was even possible. We are both UK citizens so am sure she is entitled but wondered if it was possible or we have to apply in NZ as we live here.

Re: baby passport
Have you got a UK birth certificate as well ? As long as you have you should be ok. Apply the second you get there I think you can request a date you need a passport by
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAn...orts/index.htm Have a peek here and watch out for sites that charge a fortune in premium phone rates for advice that you get here  We got the girls birth's registed in New Zealand and were able to get NZ passports for them even though they live here in UK. Good luck Dewb |
Re: baby passport
British consular birth registration is not done in New Zealand. An NZ birth certificate is acceptable.

Re: baby passport
Just make sure you have the correct documents as short hand certs will not be accepted.
