B&B needed in ChCh from 17 Feb to 23 Feb.
Hi All. My husband has booked his flight and is arriving in ChCh on 17 Feb. he is currently looking for a reasonable B&B and looking forward to some cycling in the mountains! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try Northlands motel on Main North Road
Close to the roads for the mountains, not far from the airport as well
Quite cheap ($50 a night) for motels in Christchurch.

Rendezvous on Rattray, which is in Christchurch is a self catering b&b. It's on Rattray Street in Riccarton. It's within walking distance of Riccarton mall with a fish and chip shop on the way past if you're inclined. We stayed there Feb 2011 and it was very good.
We also stayed at a Motel on Worcester Street, Linwood, Christchurch. That's when we were leaving Christchurch. Rendezvous on Rattray was nicer.

An alternative to motels is airbnb, which I have recently started using and can't recommend highly enough.
