Default Aurora watch tonight for the South Island.

Of course its flippin overcast here in Marlborough, but if you have clear skies, it's worth a look.

They're regularly visible from my front window here in Dunedin, we took this a few weeks ago from the graveyard between my house and the beach.

The skies have to be clear right down to the horizon and be warned, the sky never looks like it does on these photo's. It's just a glow from the horizon.
