Auckland in October: what's the weather like?

We are visiting Auckland in early October.

What sort of weather could we typically expect?

Rain, that is for sure but with more sunny days in between than in Europe.

One thing you can be sure about Auckland is it is very often wet and rainy in any month of the year. :p October is usually very unsettled and unpredictable but likely to be wet, wet, wet.

I used to live in Plymouth. I'd compare Auckland in October to Plymouth in September, maybe one or two more rainy days

LOL, definitely not, lived in that region for twenty-odd years on and off but never went for the lobotomy to blend in. I love that part of the UK - the moors and coastline - but the city itself is something else. Better now than it used to be, though

I lived there for six years (went to the polytech) and loved it, apart from the constant rain and the good people from Efford or Swilly!!

As said above but it can also be very pleasant. Don't bet either way
